You must try it out we ordered the anvil burger just for the experience and it lived up to it's reputation.
Prices are very good, and you get a lot of food for what you pay. I had a breakfast of two massive pancakes, two eggs cooked to order, hashbrowns, and two sausage patties. The meal was reasonably priced at around $6, and tasted great. Some of the items seemed to be from prepackaged stock, but they didn't taste that way.
Overall a very good experience, and I'd like to return to drive their dinner menu.
Was sent here for "some of the best burgers in Bristol". If that's what you expect, you will be disappoint. Its an old building, trying to keep it together, and a decent burger about the quality of making it fresh at home. Nothing wrong with it, but don't get your expectations high.
Great local Diner that serves good food and has great service at a good price.
Tootie's is the epitome of a local down home restaurant. The staff are very friendly, and treat you just as well as the everyday regulars sitting around drinking their morning coffee. The menu is fairly large, which can be a problem at smaller restaurants, but Tootie's fare is on the simple side and the menu is made up of Southern lunch counter staples.
