Working a performer's hours, the Bistro and Market were a big help to our client as was the fitness center that’s open 24hrs. An added treat, the hotel has Starbucks coffee on site, which many of our clients love (as do I).
Brandon knew of the Courtyard by Marriott’s reputation and so he wasn't surprised when the Bristol Courtyard more than lived up to it. As expected, the room was spotless and quiet. The bed was possibly among the most comfortable he’s slept on. Besides the comfort, our client loved the way the room was designed. With so many gadgets and paper work, plenty of work space is essential. There was also plenty of room to relax and watch a movie.
Many guests choose to unwind in the Courtyard's courtyard area. It's a peaceful place to relax after a day of work. For our client, it was a quiet place to get his thoughts together before going to perform.
What really makes a difference when you're traveling for long periods of time is a friendly smile. From check in to check out, everyone on the staff was professional and helpful but additionally, fun to talk with.

We were not disappointed. We always stay at Courtyards by Marriott because we know exactly what to expect...clean rooms and good service.
I don't have much to say for our stay here as we arrived late and left early the next day. The accommodations were adequate, the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were welcoming. If we had more time here I could offer more input.

Would have given a 5 star review. We had great service and a nice room for our stay. However, they randomly charged us a $300 smoking fee (only knew when I reviewed my credit card bill) even though nobody in our party smokes & we had a baby in our room (they brought us a crib). WTH!?
This is a nice place to stay when you're in Bristol (VA). I didn't expect much based on my impression of the exterior of the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised after entering the building. The lobby has been updated and includes a small restaurant/bar that is clean and inviting. A welcome site after a long day of travel. There is also a small computer center on the main floor. There is a pool and fitness center onsite that I did not take advantage of. I may have used them had I stayed longer. My room was a king bed suite on the third floor with a nice view overlooking the town. I liked that the bed was facing the window rather than up against the adjoining room. That said, the walls were pretty thin. I could hear my neighbor snoring throughout the night. Small downside to an otherwise nice hotel. Guest services at this Courtyard were great. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to maintenance staff. I will stay again when in town.
