This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff (everyone that I encountered, literally) were a joy. Even the maids were friendly, greeted us at every opportunity, and wished us well at every goodbye. The room was comfortable and nice. The breakfast was way above board for a free hotel breakfast, and included made to order items and a wide selection. What really made it for me was the bartender. I was told when I checked in at 9:30 that the bar would be open until ten. However he stayed open until midnight despite only having four customers. He was the right mix of conversational and reserved as well. I have stayed at two other Bristol hotels that did not impress me. This one would be a top pick in any market!
It's a nice place for the price. I don't have a lot of exposure to luxury hotels, but with the Hilton name I guess I expected more lavish appointments in the room. And the little 36" TV looked pretty out of place in the huge room. I would definitely come back though. The staff was absolutely great!
This hotel was simply amazing. We came in from New York City (10 hour drive) and the front desk checked us in using My Hilton honor points. I did not have to call or anything... he did it for me! The room was literally perfect, and the lobby where you get breakfast in the morning was like a 5 star hotel. I have traveled all around the US with my company as a pharmaceutical rep and this was one of the nicest hotels for the price...well... for me it was free using my points. The breakfast was $10.95 per person but it was better than any nice restaurant around. It's not just donuts and pastries. We had omlets to order, waffles, French toast... OMG, the food was fabulous! You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We will be back...no doubt. ***** 5 star service.
From there it went downhill due to issues with the actual building.
I could clearly hear the man breathing, clearing his throat and grunting all night. He might as well been in my room! Combine this with the constant truck noise coming from I81, I didn't get a real good sleep on either nights that I stayed there.
Fairly new hotel with a professional and courteous staff. Breakfast was quick and exactly to order. Housekeeping kept the place spotless.
Even though I am sure that this property shouldn't be different than any other Hilton Garden Inn, I felt that they skimped on sound insulation.
I always stay at that same intersection and have never had noise issues, even at other Hilton properties.
I stopped into this hotel around midnight to get a room mid-roadtrip, and the manager on duty was at the front desk and found me a room available quickly. The building is in a nice location. The interior was clean. The room we stayed in was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and convenient. I will definitely stop by on my next trip through Bristol.
Last, but not least, they used a curved shower rod which is great, HOWEVER, the installers mounted the rid so that it's curve was even with the tub edge and the ends followed the tub's curve. This defeats the whole purpose of a curved rod - to hold it AWAY from your body. Had they mounted the ends next to the vertical run of tile, then it would hold the curtain out where it belongs.
