Wonderful hotel, great location, very clean and comfortable. The hotel receptionist changed our 2 rooms so that they could be adjoining, and also put us in a position where we could see our rental van (which wasn't allowed in the actual hotel car lot but was right next to it) from the rooms. We stayed here on a cross country road trip with 4 pets and were not disappointed.
I was extremely delighted with your motel. The room was super clean. Since my husband and I both smoke, I was expecting an unpleasant smell, but it was not bad at all. That tells me your cleaning staff does a wonderful job. The only thing I missed was shampoo which you don't provide but that is ok. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant.
We normally do not stay at Motel 6 because you never know the quality of the motel without seeing it. However, I stayed here with a friend previously and it was a nice, newer hotel. The rate is great and it's in a good location. No frills, but nice enough for a family stay.
Overall it was fine. I was there during the Rhythm & Roots festival, so my room rate was at a premium - over $100/night. Definitely much more than I would normally have paid for this quality of room and lack of a continental breakfast. I liked that the floor was linoleum rather than carpet because it felt cleaner. I had to ask on two separate days that my bed be remade because the mattress cover was bunched up underneath the sheet. I found a couple of long dark hairs on my clean towels. The clerk who checked me in was very friendly and professional; clerks at other times were so-so.
Stark. Bed, chair at desk and small bath. No hairdryer or shampoo provided. No breakfast. Go there if you just need to sleep, shower and go. Near good restaurants.
